Servility
A state of mind is formed by thousands of years of feudal rule. It is based on the survival instinct. When people encounters a decision, they believe that they have limited choices. Violence is the product of obeying completely. Intimidation alters temptations and thoughts.
Obscurantism
It is the way that feudal emperors control their people's thoughts. The Imperial Examination, the most prominent control system, is only based on the knowledge of classics and literary style, not technical expertise.  
Sexism
Women and girls have no rights in ancient China. The Three Obediences and Four Virtues were the education that women had to receive. In order to please the men, women must accept the Foot-binding that breaks the feet's bone structure in order to make it tiny. 
Patriarchy
Males hold the primary power in the ancient Eastern social system, mainlyin roles of political leadership, moral authority, and social privilege. In the family, fathers hold authority over women.
